In my opinion more class than ocean City which is a party type beach. Rehoboth is more for a family and older folks. I think that's why some do not like it and others like me give it 5 stars. As mentioned parking is very expensive thus it keeps out many lower class people. As teenagers, we used to walk the boards with our friends to just hang out and pass the time. AND as an adult, I still find myself strolling along the boardwalk just to relax and take in the sounds, scents and sights of this oceanfront town.
The Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is about a mile long if you walk if from end to end. The central section of the boardwalk between Baltimore Avenue and Delaware Avenue is where most of the shops, restaurants and attractions are located.
