Northeastern or northwestern which is better

Northeastern was not a free application. What do you mean full pay international for engineering? Sorry, kid applied last year and it was free. Maybe not this year. But you are international, right? If you have lived in the US for 7 years and are graduating from a US high school you are not an international applicant. But, yeah, re. Salutation : Northwestern is generally more prestigious and more competitive. I am definitely biased towards Northeastern, though.

Look at both schools and see which fits you best if you end up getting into both. Northeastern and Northwestern are very different schools. Northeastern is based on a co-op model and Northwestern is more traditional in its education approach. Though I have live in the US for 7 years and graduated from middle and high school here, I am still considered as an international applicant. I am dependent on an H1 Visa. I was just wondering which one would be better to apply, and I might apply regular desicion!

NE is a very expensive school, the co op model means you are looking at 5 years possibly. Both colleges provide on-campus living options. Most importantly, though, check out the video below for a sample of dorm tours at each school.

After all, college should prepare you for a career! For more comparison of Northeastern University NU check these out:. Northwestern University vs. Northeastern University NU Overview. What are your chances at Northwestern University? Your SAT Score. Your ACT Score. I know that NE offers, as someone else pointed out ahead of me, many internship opportunities as part of their core curriculum. That can be a really great thing when it comes time for you to look for a job.

You'll already have a lot of experience under your belt. But I have known people who have come out of great schools like NU and done zip with their lives and I have seen others come out of schools you have never heard of they don't even get ranked in the college search books who have gone on to be wildly successful.

Weather is not a selling point for either school, that's for sure. That is left up to each of us. That will help you know what you are looking at and where you best qualify.

There is no "right" or "best" school except for as it relates to YOU.
